After graduating from Queens University in 1996, Joanna Milroy moved to Toronto and started her marketing career agency side. Her first twelve years were focused on business-to-business communication (Mosaic), digital development (Livewire), corporate and consumer events and promotion (Armstrong Partnership). In 2008 Joanna left the agency world for Kraft Canada when she joined the Consumer Promotions team. Having worked across all brands in the building, Joanna eventually moved onto the ‘scale’ marketing desk managing award winning Kraft legacy programs Kraft Hockeyville, Kraft Celebration Tour and Kraft Hockey Goes On.

Currently the lead for the Portfolio Marketing team, Joanna’s team manages National Multi-brand programs including Kraft Hockeyville, Kraft Project Play and the What’s Cooking Content platform.

Joanna has a drive to continually connect with consumers in meaningful ways. Delivering content with context is more important than ever in the fight for consumer attention.  Leveraging sponsorships in meaningful ways, insights and staying on top of trends is how she and her team continually strive to evolve these legacy programs and connect with the Kraft Heinz consumer. 

When Joanna is not in the office, she is on the ski hill with her husband, son (11) and daughter (6) or at the lake.
