Michael Letsche is a marketing executive with a strong understanding of traditional, digital and social media marketing. He has a proven track record of building great marketing teams and has inspired them to become visionaries in their own fields. Michael believes that to be a successful marketer, your brand needs to remain relevant and current with its customers. As proof of this strategic vision, he most recently led a new partnership between Vice Money and BMO.
Presently, Michael is a Managing Director of Marketing for BMO Wealth Management, leading a team of talented marketers who support nine lines of businesses across North America and Asia. Under Michael’s strong leadership, he helps his teams translate BMO’s overall business strategy, as well as the individual focus of these nine businesses, into specific acquisition and client loyalty strategies that are in line with BMO’s overarching brand and customer experience priorities. Michael has been with BMO for over 15 years, and has held various progressive roles across the organization. He holds a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph.
Outside of the office he strikes the elusive work/life balance with deliberate and varied interests. In addition to being a 10-time Ironman Triathlon Finisher, he enjoys most adventure and action sports, including his passion for cycling. Always on the lookout for the next challenge, he recently took on the practice of yoga, which has pushed him to new limits. When not active, you can catch Michael in the kitchen perfecting the art and science of bread-making, or improving his shutterbug skills.
