Head of Marketing
Tony comes to this world with a unique focus on bringing order to chaos. His distinctive background is a blend of creative, technical, and strategy. He is extremely insightful and well-versed in the latest technologies and trends, able to plan and complement brand initiatives with smart strategy.
At Polar, Tony leads the marketing and sales engagement team using his 15 years of marketing experience. Before that he built a marketing services division from scratch for Ackroo in Toronto; he directed mobile ad operations at Adenyo and played an instrumental role in scaling that business to be later acquired by Seattle-based Motricity for $100MM; there he joined the executive team and led sales development and operations; later when Motricity split their enterprise and media divisions, he lead the rebranding and messaging of the newly formed mobile ad company Voltari, based in New York City. He began his career at Apple managing a $10MM+ business unit portfolio.
Tony studied marketing and business in Toronto, and now lives in Greektown with his dog, Cylinder. He can most often be found biking by the lake, scoping the deals around Queen West, snowboarding at Blue, and enjoying everything life has to offer.
