As Manager, Digital Marketing for Volkswagen Canada, content is a significant portion of Jordan Gracey’s day-to-day focus and in the holistic digital marketing strategy for the brand.
Volkswagen believe that content and connected content experiences are King when looking to build connections with consumers or prospective consumers online.
Gracey’s experience with planning, mapping and creating content started a decade ago while she was working on one of the world’s most recognizable digital brand and portals; Yahoo!. Her experience with content evolved from consumer engagement to transactional while she was working at Microsoft.
Chasing her love for building connected experiences and emotional connections between brands, fans and content, Jordan entered the agency game where she spent years developing digital strategies with a focus on channel connectivity and content for a variety of major global brands. Here her focus was how to best leverage technologies, digital channels and content to target, reach, engage consumers and move the proverbial needle for brands. Some of these brands included but were not limited to Aviva Insurance, American Express, National Ballet of Canada, and of course automotive brands such as Mazda and Chrysler.
