Poirier has more than 30 years experience in sales and marketing, much of which has focused on custom publishing and partnership marketing. After beginning her career at the Globe and Mail, Poirier accepted a VP marketing and business development role with a custom publishing marketing agency, where she led an international team launching custom publications for clients that included the Los Angeles Times, Hawaii Visitors Bureau and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Poirier returned to theGlobe and Mail six years ago as a marketing solutions manager, and was recently promoted to her current role.
