Susan O’Brien is the Vice-President of Marketing and Private Label for Canadian Tire.  She is responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of the company’s marketing activities to drive consistent, integrated messaging and to deepen and expand key customer segment relationships. Canadian Tire was recently awarded 2013 Marketer of the Year by Marketing Magazine following a busy year with the Canada’s Store Marketing campaign featuring the “CT guy” as well as the We All Play for Canada Olympic and Sport partnership campaign.   

Susan has been with Canadian Tire for 6 years following Marketing roles in companies like Campbell Soup Company, Coors Brewing Company and Moosehead Breweries.  A Maritimer hailing from Saint John, New Brunswick, Susan did her B.Comm at Dalhousie University in Halifax and then her MBA at Richard Ivey School of Business.
